What Happened to THANKSGIVING?

Hello? Is anybody home? Does anybody realize it is NOT Christmas? I know that Christmas is a wonderful time, and that we all get excited about it, but......IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS!!! We still have a full month to go before December 1st even comes around! So what is up with all the Christmas lights? and the Christmas music? What is up with all the stores too? What happened with THANKSGIVING?? I mean come on! It's not okay to just skip the holiday that first tried to have peace with the different nationalities on the continent we know and love as America!! I went to the store the other day, to get some THANKSGIVING decorations, and all I could find were Christmas decorations. Is it some new trend to get everything out two months early? so that when the holiday actually does roll around, there's no more decorations for those who decide to celebrate the other holidays? I live in salt lake, and last night I saw Christmas lights already up, on bushes and houses. I even saw a Christmas tree already set up with the whole shi-bang! Whatever happened to Thanksgiving? Or New Years for that matter? I mean, at this rate, we might as well have New Years decor up and selling now too, shouldn't we? It would only make Too much sense! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! It's driving me up the wall batty that greedy store owners have decided to forget about one of the best holidays around! It's insane to start decorating and selling for christmas right now! I mean halloween wasn't even over with when some of the stores were already changing the layout for a Christmas aisle! COME ON PEOPLE! WAKE UP!! I predict that some day the other holidays aren't even going to exist any more. Nope, becuse as soon as Chrismas is over with, maybe even before it's done, stores will already be setting up for next year. And it'll be another 365 days until the next Christmas with stores still covered in fake white snow! and happy candy canes...blah! I don't mean to sound like Mr. Scrooge here, but honestly think about it. Christmas has become so commercialized, that we've forgotten what it's really about. And the same goes to nearly every holiday we have. I just don't get it. It's almost as though, we don't want any holiday around that doesn't cost a fortune to enjoy. Which is really too bad. Makes us forget the little things in life that make life worth living. Happy Holidays right?
