You stay young at heart, because that is Love

Love can be a lie. One of the most abused lies too. People do things in the name of "love". Yet rarely do they ever know what real love is. Mainly because society has twisted that word to mean only one action and not one's actions. I know what love is. I've seen it. Love, is the bond between my Grandma and Grandpa. Love is when you can watch your spouse puke all morning long, holding their hand and being ready to help them back to bed when they're sick. Love is when you would do ANYTHING for that special person. Love is when you grow old in age but stay young at heart for your whole life, just because that's the way the other person makes you feel. Love is missing somebody even when they've been gone ten minutes. Love is never wanting to let go. Love, is love. But many times, love....is a lie. Love is the most powerful, Most destructable, most abused, and most wanted word in the world. That simple word has the power to destroy a person. It can make one feel as if nothing will ever be okay ever again. That one word can make people feel happy, to feel safe, to feel....loved. But that word also has the ability to be used. "I love you" is the most abused sentance in the english language. And many other languages if not all. Men and Women will say it to get what they want. In any regard they want. And because of its power, everybody falls into its trap. Even when it's not meant as a trap. It's what happens, because it's a big part of life. Love, is a mask. Love is protection. Love is a lie. Love is true. Love does not die, nor does it kill.

Salt Lake City Library

I'm here at the library, and I must say I love this building among many others in salt lake. The building has a circular theme to it, and is designed so that those who are interested in the books can be on one side, and for those who want to get work done, but without the library crowd, they can sit on the outer but inside edges of the building. It is designed with rectangles and triangles. The square elevators are glass so you can see everything around you as you glide up and down to your destination. There are cafes, and shops on the lowest level. The internet connection is free for two hours, then You have to come back another day or re-login for more time. This building also allows you to venture onto the roof if you feel inclined to do so. There is also a park on the library grounds. Where people can sleep and talk....or walk to more stores which are also connected to the library. The basement is for the children, and has their art work pasted on the walls. Keeping one entertained for quite a while. A college sits on the north eastern side, accross the road. Meaning the library is located in a hot spot. It takes me a while to find.....but eventually I get here. Salt Lake is still so big! And now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to make my way to the top of the building, I want to see the exhilirating view the roof has to offer. Ciao!

Freedom Writers

Life is not about repitition. It is about new experiences. Everyday life. Life is about living everyday, and being able to continue your life until the next day. Life is about having the courage to stand up for what is right. And then continuing to live it. Life is about helping somebody else, Just by being yourself. Life includes Love. Because without it....What is the point of our existance? I see people. Not their color. Yes, we are different. But our differences only go as far as our personalities. And our personalitites are developed by our background. The way we were raised and our reaction to it. That is how we develop our personalities. And as far as I know, What difference does Race make? Since when does that matter? I just don't get it.

Fears

I worry alot. I worry about work. I worry about the weather. I worry about my family. I worry about my friends. I worry about people forgetting me. I like to be remembered. And I like to remember people.
I'm scared that you'll forget me. I'm scared I was just another person. I like to be significant. I'm afraid that we'll both go on with our lives, and be just another memory. And though this may sound cheesy.....I don't want that to happen. I guess what I'm trying to say is; please, don't forget about me.

Work, aka "work"

Work.....I work for a Condotel. Yes, that is a word, and yes, that is truly where I work. A condotel. Now, one important fact about my line of work....and where I work.....it's busiest time is Winter. Let me say that again, WINTER (don't want any confusion). Now, I have been here nearly a year, and I have learned people (the guests) are happiest in the Winter. Why? Because there is Snow! YAY! for SNOW!! It makes the people happy. They get to ski, snowboard, tube, all those fun things. Well right now, as I am typing this the season is very much Summer. Nothing important happens in the Summer in Park City! well....we do have Lacross the last two weeks of June, and Softball tournaments (Triple Crown Softball) for the Whole month of July, and then we have the soccor players that come in the first two weeks of August. But other than that...Nothing! And we, the Front Desk Agents, get bored. As you may have been able to tell from my last entry. However, at one of the offices we have discovered that if you use a Dry Erase Marker.....you can draw on the countertops (they're made of marble or granite.....whichever) and it comes right off!! I have drawn many pictures with this new discovery, and I've written a new policy for the company as well. Which is as follows; Thank you for choosing (company name), please read the following carefully. Our policy includes the Golden Rule. If You are nice to us, We are nice to You. If you are mean or mad at us, escpecially for a situation we cannot control, our politeness will be 100% FAKE. Guaraunteed! (is that how you spell it?) Once again, thank you for choosing (company name), and enjoy your stay in Park City. P.S. We truly don't care if your unit has A/C or not, because this is a Ski town.

Now you may think that is rude.....but I, along with the other workers in this office, think it's hillarious. Mainly because our company doesn't do much to make guests comfortable....at least not in a timely manner. However we have recently gotten a new General Manager. And so far she is very pro-active. Very! and it's a good thing because maybe, we'll finally get people to do their jobs right away. And I won't be the only one "yelling" at housekeeping to stop gossiping (sounds like my last job!!) and get off their lazy butts and get their work done. hahahhaha!

Well "work" is over, adios!

Bored=Not having the ability to make good use of free time ~Arthur Protasio~

Okay, I know I just typed the meaning of bored...but I really am bored. Today is the 5th of August in the year 2007, and I am bored. I have nothing good to do with my free time. I've already been to my usual sites on the internet, filled out about 1/2 a dozen surveys, and I have left comments on a few people's profiles as well. And so I consider myself truly bored because I have run out of all the good things to do in a morning. Now I must wait till noon (15 minutes) before I can get out of my boredom and make good use of my free time. Until then I think I will eat something as my stomach seems to be eating me. Ciao!
